The Magnatone Warranties

Magnatone Hearing Aids are covered by some of the most generous warranties in the hearing aids industry. All Magnatone hearing aids worn in the ear are warrantied for one full year from the date of shipment for defects in wither materials or workmanship; those interested can get an extended warranty, for either twenty-four or thirty-six months the date of shipment, which will cover all the ITE Magnatone hearing aid’s electronics. They must purchase the extra coverage within ninety days of their hearing device having been shipped.

All behind the ear Magnatone hearing aids have the same one-year warranty against defective material or workmanship which covers the ITE instruments, but the purchaser of a BTE Magnatone hearing aid has a full six months in which to activate the warranty. The warranty will not go into effect until the purchaser calls his or her Magnatone hearing customer service agent to activate it, and will continue for twelve months from the date of activation. For those who do not activate the warranty, its effective date will revert to the date of shipment.
